Shoe covers (also called overshoes) are designed to keep your cherished shoes clean and dry. They do so by protecting your shoes from water, mud, and wet road spray (especially when raining or after raining).
Canagoza Shoe Covers are manufactured from soft and high tensile strength silicone rubber that significantly withstands wear and tear. Silicone rubber is an engineering material. Silicone rubber is stretchable for easy wearing.
The silicone rubber shoe covers are reusable and washable (Hunt, 2019).
1. Significantly Waterproof
The rain shoe covers significantly covers your shoes. With a tight fit at the top, chances of water/mud entering your shoes are nil or low. As a result, your shoes and feet remain dry.
2. Windproof
Silicone is a highly efficient insulating material that is not only waterproof, but also windproof. Because the silicone shoe covers are windproof, they prevent chill wind. They, therefore, provide more warmth in cold weather.
3. Keeps Shoes Clean and More Durable
A very obvious reason for wearing shoe covers is to keep your shoes clean. In addition, the shoe covers decreases the wearing of your actual shoes due to water and other factors.
4. Prevents/Reduces Spread of Contaminants and Germs
Shoe covers can help you prevent/reduce the spread of dirt, dust, and germs from outside environment or other room/s. You will achieve that by changing the shoe covers before entering inside environment or new room/s (“5 reasons to wear shoe covers,” 2021).
5. Slip Resistant and Significantly Durable
Canagoza Silicone Shoe Covers are featured by reinforced non-slip sole. The sole has thick scored bottom, which provides high-rate floor grip. The sole is significantly durable and allows safe walking (without slipping) while it is raining or snowing.
6. Lightweight and Foldable
Canagoza Shoe Covers are lightweight and foldable for easy storage and carrying. You can store them in and easily remove them from your pocket or bag/school bag.
7. Reusable and environmental friendly
Silicone shoe covers are reusable. Clean them with water after use and dry them for next use (“5 reasons to wear shoe covers,” 2021).
Canagoza Shoe Covers are great for use with flat sole shoes on rainy days. More uses include for gardening, planting, camping, and hiking.
Students (especially in high and primary schools and kindergartens) can wear them when going to school, but should remember to remove them while outside the gate of their respective schools – in case they are not allowed to enter their schools while wearing the shoe covers.
You can wear the shoe covers when walking or riding a bicycle/motorcycle during foggy days. The reason is that the shoe covers are capable of preventing your shoes from becoming wet.
You can wear the shoe covers in cold weather. The shoe covers can protect your toes from cold injury and maintain your feet warm.
In some workplaces, employers (or the law) require employees to wear protective shoe covers for some reasons. Please choose Canagoza Shoe Covers.
In case of a heavy downpour, rain water can reach several centimeters. Given that, some shoe covers might not prevent water from entering. The reason is that they cover only up to the ankle.
In fact, you should not aim to walk through moving water after a heavy downpour/when there is flood/s. Moving water can make you fall and even carry you (especially if the water is at high speed and/or high volume) (Science Made Fun!, 2015).
Silicone shoe covers come in these sizes: small (S), medium (M), large (L), and extra large (XL).
You should choose the right size/fit. Wearing shoe covers that are too large is capable of increasing the risk of accidents.
Wearing shoe covers that are too small will result to the covers pressing against your feet.
