As the name suggests, a raincoat is waterproof clothing worn to protect the body from rain. Canagoza Raincoat protects not only against rain, but also against cold, high humidity, wind, dirt, and dust.
Canagoza Raincoats are, therefore, suitable for different occupations/persons/outdoor activities. Among them are for security guards and students, as workplace protective clothing, travelling, and hiking. Others are camping, water rides, boating, shows, and along with many others (Canagoza, 2022).
Advances in fiber and fabric technologies have made modern-day raincoats more water-repellent than ever before (Greatrex, 2022). Canagoza Raincoats are manufactured from ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). EVA is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. EVA copolymer is produced through either autoclave or tubular manufacturing technology (Biesterfeld, 2022).
EVA is a polyolefin that approaches elastomeric materials in terms of softness and flexibility (Biesterfeld, 2022).
EVA material is transparent, highly waterproof, highly thick, as well as non-toxic. It is typified by no odor, scratch resistance, folding resistance, and wrinkle resistance. EVA has sufficient tear strength and thus significant durability (lasts several years with proper care) (LG Chem, 2022).
EVA is lightweight, soft, and is easy to pack in and carry around. The EVA raincoat is quick drying and reusable. It is also environmentally friendly (LG Chem, 2022).
Canagoza Raincoat has long sleeves (with cuffs), button/snap fastening on the front, and drawstring hood design. These features keep your arms, neck, and head dry in rain.
Canagoza Raincoats come in different colors, including black, green, red, blue, white, yellow, and pink.
Apart from EVA material, Canagoza Raincoats are also made from pongee fabric and 210T polyester coated with polyurethane. In addition, polyester urethane and Oxford cloth coated with polyurethane are also used to manufacture Canagoza Raincoats.
Canagoza Adult Raincoat comes in these sizes: large (L), extra large (XL), extra extra large (2XL), and extra extra extra large (3XL). Adult rain suit (jacket and trouser) come in these sizes: medium (M), large (L), and extra large (XL).
Canagoza Children Raincoat comes in these sizes: small (S), medium (M), large (L), extra large (XL), extra extra large (XXL).
You should aim to choose the right size/fit. The raincoat/rain suit should not be too loose or too tight. To keep your body fully dry, choose Canagoza Raincoat that is almost full length or a raincoat that reaches at least below the knee. The sleeve length should be perfect. A shorter sleeve will, obviously, not provide complete rain protection (Pearlbags, 2021).
Prepping
Remove any loose debris by lightly shaking the raincoat/s. Next, look for any stain/s (especially stubborn stains) that need special care. Spray or dab a gentle spot cleaner (suitable for EVA material) on the area/s having stain/s.
Or, spray or dab white vinegar and water solution on the area/s having stain/s. The white vinegar and water mixture should be based on the instructions of the white vinegar manufacturer. Allow the cleaner/white vinegar and water mixture to sit for up to several minutes on the area/s having stain/s.
Use a soft cloth (preferably a microfiber coral fleece or plush towel from Canagoza) to clean the area/s.
Next, you will need to clean the coat fully.
Washing
Please hand-wash your raincoat/s only. Use a mild (gentle) detergent -- a detergent specifically designed for technical outwear is recommended. Use cool water or warm water. The warm water should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius (Patel et al., 2018).
Add water in a basin or washtub. Place a small amount of detergent. Swish the water around gently to disperse the detergent. Next, submerge the raincoat, gently massaging it where there is possibility of dirt or odor.
Rinse the raincoat in cool water until all detergent is washed out.
Please do not dry using a machine (dryer). Hang dry only on a clothesline.
Do not dry clean.
Please also do not iron (Patel et al., 2018).
